Max Alfred Elliott, stage name Maxi Priest born in Lewisham London his parents moved to England from jamaica. Grammy nominated in 94 for his album Fe Real and his 97 album Man with the Fun, one of the first international artist of all time to gain success in the reggae fusion genre, Maxi has been in the music business for over forty years gaining worldwide success with a myriad of singles and albums as part of his repertoire. He’s enjoyed collabs with Shabba Ranks on House Call, with soul singer Roberta Flack on Set the Night to Music in 91 (US top 10). His album Easy to Love, saw him teamed with Sly & Robbie and Beres Hammond. His cousin was the late Jacob Miller from the Inner Circle group.
