Bounty Killer Foundation Giving Back On Labour Day

Dancehall veteran Rodney Pryce better known as Bounty Killer, through his foundation gave the Victoria Jubilee Hospital in downtown Kingston, the place of his birth an air conditioning unit, a refrigerator, along with one hundred tins of oil paint that is to be shared with  the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH). 

Bounty stated that back in the days when his mother, Miss Ivy was poor Jubilee was the place where she went to give birth to him, which is why he is forever grateful to the Hospital. He said that growing up in the Ghetto, when he was sixteen years old and got shot the Kingston Public Hospital was where they took him, up to this day he has no complains after doing his surgery there, why helped to ensure that the world had the chance to know the superstar he is today, so this is one way of showing his appreciation to them for saving his life.

As apart of their Labour Day project Bounty, along with members of his foundation, helped in painting outside of the Victoria Jubliee Hospital. Killer also outlined some of his colleagues who are making positive waves in nation building, and these includes Bugle, Iba Mahr, Marion Hall and Konshens. The dancehall artiste emplores others entertainers to get involve as well.

Acting CEO of the Victoria Jubilee and Kingston Public Hospital Colleen Wright said that the donations received by the hospital from Rodney Pryce would be put to good use as it geared at improvements that will benefit both staff and patients alike at the facility.

This would not be the first time Rodney Pryce Foundation would be donating to the Kingston Public Hospital, as the entertainer, in February donated sixty three beds and mattresses. Bounty Killer disclosed future plans for his foundation, saying that his foundation is looking to target the Entertainment, Sport, Education and the Health sector, as they were the entities that are dear to his heart, he already begun with the entertainment, as he is constantly helping young artistes to make a name in the industry, so going forward he will be focusing on Health, Sports and Education taking it one step at a time.
