The Great Legend Bob Marley legacy will never die. Artistes from all over the World are still remixing his songs and still manage to make them hit songs. Danish producer Funkstar De Luxe remixed Bob Marley and the Wailer’s song “Sun in Shining” in 1999 which became a global hit in more than 23 countries. Currently, it is at number three on the UK Singles Chart and Number One on the US Billboard Dance Music Club Songs Chart. The remake of Sun is Shining did not end there but twenty-one years later, German DJ and Producer Robin Schulz did another remix. His version entered the Billboard Dance/ Mix Show Airplay Chart at number 29 and also the Dutch Top 50 Airplay Chart.
In 1971, The Wailers featured the original version of Sun is Shining which was featured on their album Soul Revolution of that same year. Their Producer was Lee “Scratch” Perry. Seven years later, a re-recorded version was featured on Kaya; Bob Marley and The Wailers’ album. Bob Marley is being featured on many more Billboards across the world. The Best Of Bob Marley is at the top on the Reggae Albums Chart for the past 36 weeks. Legend, however moves to number 43 from number 56 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. On Billboard Vinyl Albums Chart, Legend, which was at number one, is currently at number six. Legend has been on the Vinyl Charts for the past 272 weeks. On Billboard Catalog Albums Chart, Legend moves from number two to three. Whether Bob Marley songs move up or down the ladder, he still ends up on the Billboard and will always be a Legend.
