Sean Paul’s Trinity Heats up the US

Sean Paul’s promotional tour for his third album, The Trinity, proved to be a success as the record breaking artiste blazed the temperature throughout the US.  The tour commenced on Tuesday, March 14 in Florida and continued to Wednesday, April 12 in Los Angeles.  Many barriers were broken as Sean’s hit single Temperature peaked at #1 on the Billboard Top 100 Chart.

Sean Paul is the only reggae/dancehall musician to have garnered three #1 hits consecutively. In addition, he performed as the headline artiste in
Colorado, Utah and Minnesota for the first time.

Steve Wilson, Sean Paul’s Road Manager, with a hint of nostalgia stated that most of the performances were held in &ldquovery stylized House of Blues” venues.  These venues were able to accommodate 2000 to 5000 patrons and sales for each show did extremely well.  Sean Paul’s unique sound and laid back style accentuated by the creative and acrobatic routine delivered by his dancers saw energetic audiences ‘burnin’ with excitement as they ‘break out.’ As a result, the performances which lasted for approximately an hour and a half made headlines in the local newspapers in each state he performed.

Celebrities who attended his shows included the glamorous heiress, Paris Hilton, American Idol Judge, Paula Abdul, rappers Mike Jones and T.I., Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland and West Indies Cricketer, Franklyn Rose.  This humble reggae artiste also had the opportunity to once again appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Black Entertainment Television’s Spring Bling.

Amid all the success that Sean Paul has been swimming in he is the epitome of humility as he still remains respectful to those who have paved the way for the success of reggae music.  Sean leaves
Jamaica for South Africa on Monday, April 23
