The long wait is over and the incarcerated artiste Jah Cure’s album is out.
Jah Cure has captivated the reggae audience. His legend among its ranks is near to folk hero status. This young reggae artist is a mystery to many but, his haunting vocals and socially conscious lyrics have exploded on the streets of Jamaica. His hit single ‘Longing For’ on the ‘Drop Leaf Riddim’ has stormed national and international charts, spending weeks at the top position.

Freedom Blues will re-introduce the artist Siccature Alcock to the reggae audience via this collection of Jamaican singles many found on his little known first album titled Free Jah’s Cure. Key among the tracks on Freedom Blues are his earliest hits “Trod In The Valley” produced by Phillip ‘Fattis’ Burrell and “Love Is The Solution” produced by Morgan Heritage. The current favorites “Good Morning Jah Jah” on the I Swear riddim and the Beres Hammond produced “King In The Jungle” featuring Sizzla are also featured. His voice evokes longing and personal suffering. His appeal is filled with mystery and fueled by legend; Jah cure is a new type of reggae star.
