VP’s Universal Message
By RT

Just when you thought the consciousness is over, VP has taken the initiative to compile all the favourites onto one CD.  The CD is entitled ‘Universal Message Vol. 3’ featuring the voices of chart toppers Tanya Stephens, I-Wayne, Luciano, Turbulance, Chuck Fenda, Morgan Heritage and lots more.

The cd illustrates a change in our music, or rather a change in the message carried out by our music. Jamaicans have come to appreciate once again conscious lyrics illustrating a new trend moving into 2005. Riding the same wave trend is the Universal Message with roots in rhythm and reality in verse.

Of course the CD is given an extra notch, having featured I-Wayne’s ‘Living In Love’, Jah Cure’s ‘Bless Me’, Luciano’s ‘Give Praise’, Tanya Stephens’ ‘What A Day’, ‘Morgan Heritage’s ‘Uncomfortable’, Richie Spice’s ‘Blood Again’ and Sizzla’s ‘Ain’t Gonna See Us Fall’. But regardless of these headliners, there are lots of others conscious artistes representing on conscious tracks.

‘Universal Message’: an appropriate name, to an appropriate album, bringing the new wave of reggae to the world.
