Bescenta “Haffi Win It” with birthday album release

Bryden Craig Wilkins also known by his stage name Bescenta, made his first appearance on earth on April 12, 1975.

Bescenta grew up in rural St Andrew Jamaica where he called the Salisbury Plain community home. Upon graduation from St. Andrew Technical High School (S.T.A.T.H.S), he immediately gained employment doing odd jobs and working as an electrician.

Wilkins though always possessed a passion for music,  and soon began his music recording career with Peter Sweetness Nembhard on Auntie Boom Records. During these early days in his career he teamed up with good friends Odene “Fiyaneer” Burke and Garfield “Rufftop Rockki” Thomas to form a group called Cornastone.

In 2001 when Bescenta made the decision to go solo in his career, when he met Computer Paul Henton a producer who saw in Bescenta the talent to succeed as a solo artiste, and wanted to work with him as such. They quickly formed a great partnership when Bescenta left Cornastone; they worked on singles which included “The Word Is In Trouble” which was entered in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Song Contest in 2004, where he finished 2nd Overall.

Fast forward to April 12, 2018 on Bescenta’s forty third birthday releasing his powerful 14 track album entitled “Haffi Win It” which includes collaborations with Warrior King on the “Good Music” track, and with Shuga on “Survival”. 

Haffi Win It is produced by Uth Music Jamaica with collaborative production work done from labels such as Calibudz Music, Truckback Music, Lockcity, Yard127 Records, and Royal Order Music and is distributed by Tuff Gong International.

Speaking about ‘Haffi Win It’ Bescenta commented that the album is aimed at upliftment and liberation of the mind with an emphasis on the uniqueness of message each song has.
